Cause and effect
Cause and effect are things which goes hand in hand. Every cause has its effect. As even Newton’s third law states every action has equal and opposite reaction. Likewise you need to think of cause and what will be its effect before mentioning anything in your essays. . I think the most important thing I learned in this chapter is that you should write about a topic that you care about. This totally makes sense because if you did not care about the topic, it will show in your writing. You need to have an understanding of what your reader may already know about the topic; you need to think logically, research the topic and then make all points for your argument. You need to have many supporting details to support your topic so that no one will be able to pin point at them
Description and Reflection
The act, process, or technique of describing things, object, feelings etc is known description. It can be a pictorial representation or written. Whereas reflection means The act of reflecting, or turning or sending back, or the state of being reflected. For example something, such as light, radiant heat, sound, or an image, that is reflected. In this chapter you are still thought to write an easy but in a different manner. I mean an eassay which reflects your personal experience. You need to write your eassay in such a way that the reader can really feel what how you felt while reading. In conclusion it teaches us about how to describe you experience and reflects it.
Chapter 9
This chapter tells us about three divisions into which most college curricula are divided. They are curricular divisions are humanities, social sciences and natural and applied sciences It shows departments of and types of writing in each division. It gives us few examples by which we can say that humanities focus more on human culture, cultural trends and religion; social sciences studies human behavior and societies, while natural and applied sciences focus the aspects of nature.
Submitting writing and creating portfolios
Submitting a final paper is the most important step after all you have given so much of stress to your mind to complete this easy going through all the steps like planning, drafting, revising and editing and proofreading. The first thing is to express your feeling and thoughts through words and the most important form of submitting is sharing your feelings with proper spacing lists and charts which helps to understand your things well. The submission is the best method for knowing our ability, mistakes and improving your skills.
